Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about crypto payments

How do I scan a QR code to make a payment?

Simply point your device's camera at the QR code on the screen. Our scanner will automatically detect the wallet address. Then select your preferred cryptocurrency, enter the amount you want to pay, and choose your wallet to complete the transaction.

Which cryptocurrencies are supported?

We currently support Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and Tether (USDT). Our system automatically calculates the exact amount you need to send based on current market prices and displays it clearly before you confirm the payment.

What wallets are compatible?

We support MetaMask and Trust Wallet. When possible, we'll automatically open your wallet app with the payment details pre-filled. If automatic opening isn't available, we'll provide the wallet address and amount for you to copy and paste manually.

Is it safe to use?

Yes! We never store your private keys or wallet information. All transactions happen directly between your wallet and the recipient. We simply help you scan QR codes and format the payment details correctly. Your crypto remains secure in your wallet at all times.

How accurate are the price calculations?

Our prices are updated regularly to reflect current market rates. However, cryptocurrency prices are highly volatile, so the final amount you pay may vary slightly depending on when your transaction is processed. Always double-check the amount in your wallet before confirming.

What if my wallet doesn't open automatically?

No problem! If your wallet app doesn't open automatically, we'll show you the payment details in a manual payment screen. Simply copy the wallet address and amount, then paste them into your wallet app to complete the transaction manually.

Are there any fees?

Pay With Crypto doesn't charge any fees for using our QR scanning service. However, you may need to pay network transaction fees (gas fees) when sending cryptocurrency, which are determined by the blockchain network, not by us.

What happens if I send the wrong amount?

Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible, so it's important to double-check the amount before sending. If you send an incorrect amount, you'll need to contact the recipient directly to resolve the issue. Always verify the payment details in your wallet before confirming.
